He has been a member of Local 756 since 1977 and has been a local officer since 1987. He is currently the Local Chairman of the Engineers Committee, Delegate, and Alternate LR of Local 756.

He is currently the Vice Local Chairman of the Engineers committee, and has served as a member of the SACP committee.

I hired out November 6, 2005, promoted to Conductor February 13, 2006, went into engine service November 6, 2006. I have spent most of my time going to Hearne and Laredo. My goal with the UTU is to get our members more involved and aware of the things that will affect them and their families. Also to make sure we stand up for there rights so they get what they deserve at all times.

Was hired by UPRR in 1990 on the MANTINANCE OF WAY ,was there for 2 and a half years.Then transferred to train service in MAY of 1993.Has worked as a switchman,brakeman,and now a conductor.Been on every territory you can go on out of SAN ANTONIO.Currently working on the XT30 San Antonio.

He is currently the Vice-Local Chairman for Local 756 and also represents the U.T.U. on the Laredo Safety Committee.
